Final Notes

Depending on the size and complexity of your estate, and your family dynamics, you should consider a Trust instead of a Will. Trusts can help protect an estate against fraud or undue influence, and can avoid probate for assets in the Trust. Avoiding probate may save you money, assist in your tax planning, reduce the amount of paperwork for your loved ones, and provide time for your family to disburse your estate, rather than being pressured by the government. Our team would be happy to consult with you further regarding the advantages and disadvantages of each option.
